Just to let anyone know that is still actually following me here. That I’m having some issues with the Comicpress Permissions. I’m thinking that I will “reboot” the whole shibang and start from scratch… maybe that will help… but first I have to get together with my SysOp….
hang tight.. the Webcomic WILL become a reality. I’ve been doing a LOT of cartooning the past week and coming up with some great story ideas with my wife…. I’m very excited to get this up and running…
As you can see there haven’t been any updates since last Friday… there is going to be a change.. not just in layout but in purpose as well…. I have found that I can not do this challenge everyday, it is affecting too many other aspects of my life and I’m looking at what is more important to me.
I have decided to actually go for my dream of a Webcomic and that is exactly what I’m going to do…. I’m not sure on the schedule as of yet, for now just once a week, but maybe twice. I’ve already switched the blog over to COMICPRESS to help showcase this better, but until I figure out all the tweaks in it, it may be a few days before I get the blog sorted out.
I want to thank everyone for visiting the site and commenting. I especially want to say that I have a SUPERTERRIFIC wife who let me “play” everyday. But I realize that I need to do more QUALITY work, not just quantity. So here’s the next phase of my journey as an artist… 
Mythunderstandings 1-1
Well, I guess it’s time to start pumping out my webcomic. All my life I have loved drawing cartoons and now it’s time to see what I really have. I will admit that this challenge gets really hard sometimes as there just is not enough time in the day. Some days I’d rather just lay on the couch with my beautiful wife close at hand playing some Lego Star Wars/Indy/Batman or watching a movie… but lucky for me, Kim is VERY understanding of what I am trying to do here.
So here is the first of many episodes… nothing major of course.. just setting up the story…
Mythunderstandings episode 1-1
Yesterday was not so much an art day but creative none the less as I had a fun gaming session with my boys. I love Role Playing Games and especially improving interesting new characters to interact with the players. Yesterday was fun as I had to come up with a couple on the spot – an over-the-top mysterious magician that was reminiscent of the “Zoltan Machine” from the Tom Hanks movie “Big” and then Wulfang Schwarzenhander the blacksmith/priest who was fully decked in full plated armour & spiked shield. He was very exuberant and he lead the player characters onto their next adventure. It was quite fun.
I know some people might not think ‘gaming’ is creative but you try doing improv and then tell me that again…
